Covid Vaccination Update 2nd February 2021

We have now completed approximately 2000 vaccinations and have completed our over 80’s, residents of care homes and their staff and over 75s who can come up for a vaccine.

Over 75 and not vaccinated?

If any patients who are over 75 and NOT housebound have not heard from us by telephone or letter, please contact us with up to date contact information so we can arrange your vaccination.

In conjunction with the District Nurses we are commencing home visits for our housebound patients this week and will be in touch very shortly.

Over 70s and Clinically Extremely Vulnerable

We are currently booking in this group of patients and are running clinics for the next two weeks for this cohort of patients. We will be in touch by phone to arrange these appointments so please do not contact the surgery as we will be in touch.

You might also receive a letter from NHS England inviting you to book at our mass vaccination site in Epsom, or other larger venues, if you prefer. If you don’t want to travel to Epsom, or any of the other venues offered by NHS England, that’s fine, you can simply wait for your GP service to offer you a more local venue.

Thank you for your continued patience while we get through all the priority groups. We want to vaccinate as many people as possible as quickly as possible. Deploying a vaccine at this scale is unprecedented, and timing will be subject, in part, to manufacturing timescales and supply.

Help us to help you

  • Please don’t contact your GP practice, the wider NHS or any of the community venues that hosting services to seek a vaccine, we will contact you
  • When we do contact you, please attend your booked appointments
  • Please do not arrive too early for your vaccination appointment to help us maintain social distancing
  • Please continue to follow all the rules to control the virus and save lives
